Restaurant Review
Kasasoba This pricey, creative Japanese restaurant on Agua Fria has lots of hits and misses. Avocado sashimi for $6.00 sounded interesting but it was really just half an avocado, sliced fancy, with a dab of Wasabi and green chile paste. That was a bad joke. The spicy tuna roll was perfection. Other tasty items included excellent miso soup and Gomae (which is a wilted spinach salad with a sweet sesame dressing). Skip the "pregnant smelts," as the waiter with attitude called them.
