The Old House at the Eldorado Hotel This is a beautiful restaurant with well-trained, professional staff, an excellent reputation, and very high prices. I was disappointed at the inconsistent quality of the food. The appetizers were excellent, the Foie Gras was to die for, but the mains were run-of-the-mill. The chicken entree was dry and boring. The chocolate torte was excellent, but the beggar's purse with banana was made with a giant rubbery crepe and we had to hunt for the banana bit.
