This week I had on a real local treasure Yuri, who came to New Mexico via Russia and then Alaska. He discussed life working on fishing boats in rough seas, how fishermen don't eat fish, and how he has developed a passion for home smoking. He even brought me some yummy salmon and mackerel to try.
