Croissants around town

Live on-air Taste Test

Clafoutis
The best in town made by real French folks — and it shows. This place was rocking at 9AM! Bernice said it made her feel like she was in Paris. It pulled apart in a perfect spiral and made us very happy!


Sage Bakehouse
A surprise to me! It was buttery, flakey and just sweet enough. Who knew they could do French?


Cafe Paris
Light and buttery, but a little too sweet and not enough crust.


Treehouse Cafe
A croissant of a totally different kind. Organic and made with whole-wheat flour, it was surprisingly light and delicious.


The French Bakery at La Fonda
Had the potential to be good and rich, but our sample seemed a little dry and old, was it yesterday's? That would be bad.


Santa Fe Baking Company
It was mushy and bland.


Chocolate Maven
If you can't make it good, make it big. Didn't even resemble a croissant.
